JAC-ECC 2024 invites proposals for Special Sessions focusing on diverse topics within the conference scope, including:

• - Electronics and Circuits: Analog & Digital Circuits, Embedded Systems, VLSI Design, MEMS, etc.
• - Communications and Networking: Wireless and Mobile Communications, Optical Networking, 5G/6G Technologies, Network Security, etc.
• - Computer Science and Applications: Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Analytics, Cyber Security, Cloud Computing, etc.
• - Electrical Power and Energy: Renewable Energy Systems, Smart Grids, Power Electronics, Energy Storage, Electric Vehicles, etc.
• - Biomedical Engineering: Medical Imaging, Biomedical Signal Processing, Wearable Devices, Biomaterials, Healthcare Technology, etc.

Special Session Proposal Guidelines

Prospective organizers are encouraged to submit proposals that:

• - Address a specific and timely research area within the conference's scope.
• - Present a coherent and well-structured theme that fosters insightful discussions.
• - Include diverse speakers and presenters from academic and industry perspectives.
• - Outline a clear promotion strategy to attract participants and ensure the session's success.

Proposal Submission:

Proposals should be submitted using the template available on the JAC-ECC 2024 website (link to website section). The proposal should include the following information:

• - Session Title
• - Session Organizer(s): Name, Affiliation, Email, Phone Number, CV
• - Session Theme: Brief description and motivation
• - Session Structure: Outline of topics, invited speakers, and presentation format
• - Target Audience: Who would benefit from attending this session?
• - Promotional Plan: How will you advertise and attract participants?

Submit proposals to the Special Sessions Chair at mohammed.sayed@ejust.edu.eg by September 14, 2024.

Evaluation Criteria:

Proposals will be evaluated based on the following criteria:

• - Relevance to the conference theme
• - Timeliness and topicality
• - Technical content and quality
• - Novelty and contribution
• - Overall recommendation

Session Format and Duration:

Special Sessions will typically run for [duration] (e.g., 1.5 hours) and will be held in parallel with other technical sessions during the conference.

Paper Submission:

Papers submitted for Special Sessions can be either Extended Abstracts (2 pages) or Full Papers (5 pages) and will be reviewed by the session organizers. These papers will be included in the Conference Proceedings, but they will not be submitted to IEEE Xplore.

Registration:

All participants and speakers in Special Sessions, including organizers, are required to pay the conference registration fee.
